Ivan
Stiles began his career in graphic design and illustration in 1963 at the Free
Press weekly news in Perrine, Florida. After a move in 1964 to Philadelphia,
Ivan joined the advertising department of Strawbridge & Clothier's
department store where he was an illustrator. After three years, he left
Strawbridge's to form his own agency, Ivan Stiles Advertising, which he ran for
seven years. He then became Creative Director at Contemporary Marketing in Bala
Cynwyd for six years. Ivan joined Schaeffer Advertising in 1979 as Associate
Creative Director and worked there until 1985 when he again became part of the
ranks of the self-employed where he has been ever since.
Ivan has earned many design awards over the years for print advertising and
collateral material. Areas of expertise include design of print advertising,
collateral material, corporate identity, illustration, photo retouching, and
web graphics. He is skilled in QuarkXpress, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,
